September 2025–April 2026
From September 2025 through April 2026, I and my marketing colleague took the reins on putting together our entire tradeshow presence. This was one of those projects where I literally had my hands in everything: from designing and ordering the actual booth displays (they light up and the middle sign is reversible!), to the surprisingly fun process of creating and ordering custom bobbleheads. That part alone was a process: 3D modeling, hunting down the right vendor, staying on top of quality checks, figuring out DDP pricing and payments, and timing the shipment with buffer time so everything showed up when it was supposed to (i.e. at least a couple of weeks before the first show).
On top of that, I handled nearly all the print materials—designing flyers and stickers, sourcing printers, ordering tablecloths and swag, as well as making sure we had all the little things covered like signage stands, legible QR codes, and even basic office supplies/storage. I also worked with my colleague to create a full suite of print and digital ads to promote our presence, tailoring the messaging for both our B2C and B2B customers (e.g. architects, general contractors, and property management companies for the latter). When it came time for the show, my colleague took charge of coordinating with our warehouse team to load everything up, while we would drive to the shows to ensure the booth was setup with a good “flow” for each show and bring additional items requested by the sales team. There were quite a few moving pieces but honestly a super fun experience to make sure everything was cohesive.
Bee Bobblehead Process
My colleague generated a bee mascot for Beehaven Inc. Using that reference image, I used Blender to 3D model a bee concept that could be sent to potential bobblehead vendors. We added a trackable phone number and QR code for analytics tracking, and I sent out RFPs (Request for Proposals), talked with several vendors to understand their pricing, and ordered 1000 bobbleheads. They’ve been a surprisingly huge hit for leads as well as overall networking and company awareness.
